Prof Paul Collinson MA MB BChir FRCPath MD FRCP FACB FESC is a Consultant Chemical Pathologist (a medically qualified clinical chemist) at St George’s Hospital, London (he previously was head of pathology services and now provides consulting in clinical chemistry) where he also provides and runs the Preventive Cardiology program in the Department of Cardiology. He has worked on rapid diagnosis of chest pain since 1984 and has a particular interest in point of care testing. He has published over 250 papers in the fields of laboratory medicine and cardiovascular diagnostics.
