About the Conference

AACC will hold its third AACC Preanalytical Phase conference October 20 - 21, 2023, a 1.5-day educational conference, focusing on the preanalytical phase of laboratory processes with an emphasis on putting tools into practice to mitigate errors, reduce turnaround time, increase specimen quality, and improve patient care. Building on the success of previous preanalytical phase conferences, the program will be developed by renowned experts and provide timely education on the latest preanalytical phase topics in an engaging and interactive forum including poster sessions, networking events, and a sponsor-led educational symposium.

Call for Abstracts

The Planning Committee invites you to submit poster abstracts in all aspects of the preanalytical phase life cycle. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to display their poster(s) during the meeting. All presented posters will be published in AACC’s online peer-reviewed publication The Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine (JALM). Visit the Poster Abstracts page for guidelines, the abstract template, and the online submission form.
