Mark M. Kushnir, PhD, is Scientific Director of Mass Spectrometry R&D at ARUP Institute for Clinical and Experimental Pathology, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Pathology of the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, Utah). Dr. Kushnir received PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University (Sweden). His main areas of research include development, application and clinical evaluation of novel mass spectrometry based clinical diagnostic tests for protein, peptide and small molecule disease markers. Dr. Kushnir is author of over 100 scientific peer reviewed publications and 10 book chapters, and inventor of nine patents.
