Clinical Laboratory Scientists

AACC’s clinical laboratory scientists (CLS) community encompasses all members who work as laboratory management and operational staff, including lab supervisors, managers, and technologists. With direction from the newly formed CLS Council, AACC strives to empower our CLS members to adapt to the complex challenges in healthcare today and to flourish professionally.

CLS Council

The CLS Council guides AACC’s activities and programs to address the professional needs of AACC’s current and prospective clinical laboratory scientist members.

Learn more about the council’s charge and its volunteer members who lend the clinical laboratory scientist perspective to AACC.

AACC Artery

AACC’s CLS members can connect with each other via AACC Artery, the online community for sharing ideas, best practices, and networking that is exclusively available to AACC members.

Not sure how to get started? Dip your toes in by responding to another member’s question, or by asking for feedback on that lab challenge that’s been keeping you up at night.

Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians

Did you know? If you are an AACC CLS member and under 40, you are automatically enrolled in AACC’s Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL). Don’t miss out on this free benefit that provides valuable networking, mentorship, education, and recognition opportunities for early-career lab professionals.

Knowledge. Connections. Innovation.

AACC brings together the world of laboratory medicine to exchange best practices, learn about the latest biomedical science, and network with like-minded professionals from across the globe.
