Edgard Delvin

Dr. Edgard Delvin obtained his PhD degree in biochemistry from the University of Montreal. Following a post-doctoral training in Biochemical Genetics at McGill University, he joined the Montreal Shriners Hospital for Children as senior investigator and named Associate Professor in the Department of Experimental Medicine at McGill University. He later became director of the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Sainte-Justine Hospital and full Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (University of Montreal). He is Emeritus member of the Canadian Society of Clinical Chemistry and of the AACC, and corresponding member of the French Académie nationale de médecine (Paris). His research interests include vitamin D action and metabolic diseases.
