The world of critical and point-of-care testing (CPOCT) is driven by the need for accurate, rapid diagnosis that is integrated into healthcare systems. To meet this need, new and emerging CPOCT technologies are continually advancing the field with an increasing global adoption in many healthcare settings. Laboratory professionals are central to the successful application of these new and emerging technologies and staying up to date is essential.

Amidst the global pandemic, the International CPOCT meeting brings timely topics on lessons of the pandemic, delivering healthcare in new ways, patient driven care in a data driven world and evolving clinical needs for POCT. Our experts will provide real time examples of meeting the ever-evolving challenges the pandemic continues to create.

Join us at AACC’s longstanding International CPOCT Symposium in Montreal, Canada. Over two full conference days, you will have opportunities to learn the latest in POCT from interdisciplinary experts, engage with companies in the exhibit hall, and network with peers during poster hall receptions. The symposium promises to deliver stimulating discussions on the latest science and cutting-edge technological advances through a keynote lecture, scientific sessions, panel discussions, and interactive poster receptions.

Registration includes access to sessions, poster hall, and exhibit hall as well as electronic conference materials, breakfasts, lunches, and evening receptions.

Poster Abstracts

Please note, poster abstract submissions are currently closed for the upcoming meeting.

This signature AACC meeting explores practical and promising applications of POCT for clinical decision making. AACC’s International CPOCT Symposium planning committee invites participants to submit their work for presentation at the meeting as a poster. Registration is not required to submit but is required to present if accepted. Poster abstracts across the breadth of POCT will be considered with emphasis in the following areas:

  • Direct-to-Consumer Testing
  • New and emerging technologies
  • Outcome based POCT testing in various healthcare settings
  • POCT and molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and toxicology
