Dr. Lusia Sepiashvili, DABCC, FADLM, FCACB, is a board-certified Clinical Biochemist in the Department of Pediatric Laboratory Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, University of Toronto. She is a co-author of 12 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 3 book chapters and has presented over 20 abstracts internationally and nationally. Prior to her current role, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Chemistry at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and doctoral studies in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. She has research interests in a number of diverse areas in pediatric clinical chemistry including immunology, endocrinology, and autoimmunity as well as lab test utilization.
