Lidong He is a clinical chemistry postdoctoral fellow at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. He completed his Ph.D. study with Prof. Alan G. Marshall at National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and Florida State University. His research is focused on top-down proteomics in characterization of monoclonal immunoglobulins (M proteins) from plasma cell disorders and abnormal hemoglobins from hemoglobinopthies. He has a strong interest in developing mass spectrometry-based assays for clinical diagnosis.
