Kari M. Gurtner

Kari Gurtner received her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN. Mrs. Gurtner is currently a development technologist within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Technology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she has been since 2006. Her work experience encompasses Endocrinology and Immunology, with a strong professional interest in Mass Spectrometry. She has authored three conference abstracts and two peer-reviewed full-length original articles.  She has received an AACC Academy distinguished abstract award in 2017 for her contributions on CSF Kappa Free Light Chains and diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
