Kai M. Eggers is Associated Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences, Uppsala University, Sweden and has been a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology since 2011. Since 2003, he has been involved in research on cardiovascular biomarkers, mainly cardiac troponin, with numerous publications in highly ranked journals. Dr. Eggers works clinically as a senior consultant at the Department of Cardiology, Uppsala University Hospital.
