Guanmin Chen Guanmin Chen, PhD

Guanmin Chen received her bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine and M.Sc. degree in China. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the ComACC-accredited doctoral Clinical Chemistry Program at Cleveland State University (CSU), and expect to have her Ph.D. degree by May 2023. She will start her clinical chemistry postdoctoral training at the Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago on July 3, 2023. Guanmin is very interested in investigating the molecular pathogenesis of common human diseases and identifying new biomarkers for the diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Her doctoral research focuses on investigating the role of RNase L in acute kidney injury and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease using cell and mouse models. Guanmin has been a member of AACC and ASCP since 2020, and currently serves as the coordinator of the Scientific Development Committee, North American Chinese Clinical Chemists Association (NACCCA).
