AACC's Molecular Pathology Division maintains an active awards program recognizing outstanding research in molecular pathology, supporting Division members in co-sponsoring local or regional meetings and traveling to make scientific presentations at meetings. The division will consider abstracts that include molecular methods in the following categories: bioinformatics, inherited genetics, infectious diseases, oncology, personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics, prenatal genetics, transplantation medicine and tumor markers. The Division typically selects three abstracts to award annually.
