Tania A. Sasaki, Ph.D. received her B.A. in chemistry at Pomona College (Claremont, CA) followed by her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at the University of California, Riverside. Her graduate research focused on chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques. Dr. Sasaki’s venture into clinical applications of LC-MS/MS began in 2005. Since 2010, she has worked in various clinical chemistry laboratories with a focus on toxicology testing using LC-MS/MS. She is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Northwest Physicians Laboratories in Bellevue, WA, where she is responsible for research and development, operations, and regulatory compliance.
