FairLabs: Analyzing Fairness in Laboratory Testing

Join ADLM’s Health Equity & Access Division and Data Analytics Steering Committee for breakfast and a discussion of algorithmic fairness and data visualization! A presentation on the value of algorithmic fairness to health equity and a case study of its application at the Washington University School of Medicine will be followed by a presentation of the winning approach to DASC’s third annual data analytics competition, with time for questions and discussion. The FairLabs data analytics competition challenged participants to develop a dashboard for analyzing and visualizing fairness in laboratory testing using a real, de-identified clinical dataset. Cost: $20 per ticket.
