Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians


Early career laboratorians will find a welcome atmosphere among peers in the Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL), which provides crucial networking, mentorship, programming, and recognition opportunities. SYCL (pronounced "cycle") is a free benefit to AACC members younger than age 40 as well as Trainee Members, and enrollment is automatic.

Every year, SYCL holds an interactive half-day workshop on a timely topic in laboratory medicine. This year’s workshop, titled "Navigating the Clinical Laboratory and Driving Outcomes: Strategies to Excel at the Basics and Beyond," will take place during the 2020 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting on Saturday, December 12 in Chicago.
