The Capital Local Section will be sponsoring two $1000 travel award for the 2017 the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (formerly AACC) Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in San Diego, CA. The following eligibility criteria will apply:
- The applicant is a member of the the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) Capital Local Section.
- The applicant has a poster or podium presentation accepted for the 2016 ADLM Annual Meeting.
Posters and presentations will be judged based on the following categories:
Background
The rationale for the study is clearly stated.
Sufficient background information is provided to support the rationale.
Methods
The methods chosen and applied are appropriate for the research.
The method section is comprehensive and the methods are clearly explained.
Results
The results are clearly stated with supporting statistical analysis.
Conclusions
The conclusions are supported by the results.
The conclusions include the future direction of the research, or provide recommendations to improve practice.
