AACC Elects Dennis J. Dietzen, PhD, DABCC, FACB, as 2018 President

AACC is pleased to announce that Dennis J. Dietzen, PhD, DABCC, FACB, has been elected to serve on the AACC Board as president-elect beginning in January 2017, followed by successive terms as the association’s 69th president in 2018 and past president in 2019.

Dietzen is a professor of pediatrics and pathology and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and Medical director of the core laboratory and of the metabolic genetics laboratory at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The AACC membership also confirmed the single-candidate slate for secretary and two Board of Directors positions, and elected through a plurality vote three new members of the association's Nominating Committee who will take office at the start of 2017:

Scott, PhD, DABCC, is a professor in the department of pathology and immunology in the division of laboratory and genomic medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and co-medical director of clinical chemistry and point-of-care testing, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
