AACC relies on the energetic engagement of its members to advance the association’s strategic priorities. AACC’s leadership and members carry out the organization’s mission and governance, keeping the association vibrant and relevant to clinical laboratory professionals worldwide. Without these essential volunteers, AACC’s various publications, scientific and educational programs, members-only initiatives, laboratory medicine practice guidelines, position statements, advocacy efforts, and other activities on behalf of the clinical laboratory profession would not have the same value or reach.
AACC’s Board of Directors sets the organization’s strategic direction and oversees the efforts of AACC Core Committees and Councils, other AACC governance groups, and AACC staff in support of the AACC Strategic Plan. The Board also has overall fiduciary responsibility for the association.
