Delta Checks for Free Light Chains

Do any labs have delta checks set up for free light chains? Responses varied depending on the platform being used. Two labs used delta checks to catch samples displaying prozone effect that their instrument wasn’t flagging. However, once they switched to assays with more robust prozone flagging, they removed the delta checks. Aside from these cases, respondents seemed to agree that the traditional delta check for unfeasible biological variation does not necessarily apply to free light chains.
