In July 2023, we changed our name from AACC (short for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry) to the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM). The ongoing spread of COVID-19 is a serious concern and as its global impact grows daily, AACC’s priority is always the health and safety of our community. AACC’s leadership has been carefully monitoring the outbreak and has been consulting members, staff, industry, and other experts.
Based on input from all stakeholder groups, and in close collaboration with host city officials, the organization is pleased to announce that AACC will be able to preserve the complete Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo experience to which its members, exhibitors, and the entire laboratory medicine community have been looking forward.
The 2020 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo will now be held December 13 – 17, 2020 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, USA.
Rescheduling the event will enable AACC to provide the experience that our attendees and exhibitors expect. The association remains committed to supporting the essential work of laboratory medicine professionals and to holding an event that unites and strengthens our industry in the face of enormous challenges.
The entire field has risen to the challenge of COVID-19 with creativity, scientific excellence, and intense collaboration. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago for an event that reinforces our commitment to patient care and showcases the incredible strength of the laboratory medicine community.
