Nicholas Pinkhover headshotNicholas Pinkhover, MS, is the Supervisor of Research and Innovation of the Life Sciences Testing Center, Northeastern University. Prior to joining Northeastern, he earned his MS in Neurobiology in 2018 from the University of Hartford, Dept of Biology. His research focused on how specific ligand and protein-protein interactions initiated prolonged symptoms of post-traumatic stress in murines due to changes in protein conformation in a distinct class of opioid receptors. Following graduation, he worked as an adjunct instructor of organic chemistry and faculty researcher at the University of Hartford, Dept of Chemistry. Currently, he manages the Life Sciences Testing Center's clinical research division at Northeastern University's Innovation Campus at Burlington (ICBM). He employs a multidisciplinary approach in experimental design, using techniques from analytical and organic chemistry to cell and molecular biology, next generation sequencing, and programming in high-throughput automation and bioinformatics
