Irene Shu, PhD, DABCC (CC, TC) is Assistant Laboratory Director of United States Drug Testing Laboratories, Inc. (USDTL) in Des Plaines, IL. Currently, her main focus is on development and validation of toxicological and direct alcohol biomarker testing using alternative matrix types, including meconium, umbilical cord, keratinized specimens (hair and nails), and dried blood spots.
