Victoria Higgins, PhD, FCACB is a Clinical Chemist at DynaLIFE Medical Labs and a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her PhD in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology in 2019 and the Clinical Biochemistry Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2021, both at the University of Toronto. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscript and 7 book chapter on topics including reference intervals, harmonization, cardiovascular risk assessment, hemoglobinopathies, and multiple sclerosis. She recently received the 2023 Outstanding Scientific Achievements by a Young Investigator award from the American Association for Clinical Chemistry.
