Sarah Delaney

Sarah Delaney, MSc., is in her final year or her PhD in the Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology program at the University of Toronto, based at the Hospital for Sick Children. After coordinating the Canadian Laboratory Initiative on Pediatric Reference Intervals (CALIPER) project, Sarah continued applying her passion for pediatrics and lab medicine and went on to pursue PhD focusing on pharmacokinetics of drugs in breast milk. Using a combination of LC-MS/MS-based analytical methods, animal models, and in silico physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling, her doctoral work has contributed to better understanding drug use and safety during lactation.
