Dr. Nichole Korpi-Steiner is an assistant professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UNC as well as director of Point of Care Testing and associate director of the Core Laboratory, McLendon Clinical Laboratories, UNC HealthCare. She received her PhD in biomolecular chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her postdoctoral training in clinical chemistry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry and is a fellow of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. Dr. Korpi-Steiner serves as chair for the SYCL360 subcommittee and is a member of the SYCL committee.
