Matthew D. Krasowski, MD, PhD
Matthew D. Krasowski, MD, PhD is a clinical pathologist and the Walter L. Bierring Professor of Clinical Education at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Services in the Department of Pathology at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Krasowski’s areas of research interest are toxicology and drug monitoring, chemistry assay interferences, laboratory test utilization, pharmacogenetics, immunoassays, and innovative tools for teaching medical students and residents. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed journal articles. At University of Iowa, Dr. Krasowski is a course director for a first-year medical student course.
