Dr. Marie Browne graduated from National University of Ireland Galway with a BSc in Biochemistry in 2007. She subsequently carried out her PhD entitled "Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) in the initiation and progression of Diabetic Nephropathy" in the Diabetic Complications Research Centre (DCRC), University College Dublin, Ireland. She is currently employed by Randox Teoranta as a research and development scientist where she is involved in biomarker discovery and assay development.
