Danielle Fortuna, MD received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and bachelor of arts in mathematics from Holy Family University. Currently, she is in her final year of residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout her years as a resident, Danielle has been examining cytokine and chemokine profiles and the innate immune response in various CNS diseases. After graduation from her residency program in June 2017, Danielle will go on to fellowship training in pathology subspecialties at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and continue to study and expand her work in immunology to other organ systems.
