AACC emeritus members are age 65 or older, have been members in good standing for at least 20 years, and are retired from the practice of laboratory medicine.
Emeritus members have the right to vote, but may not hold AACC offices. They receive many other member benefits, including:

- Complimentary subscriptions to AACC publications: Clinical Chemistry (online only), Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine (online only), Clinical Laboratory News, and CLN Stat.
