Ross Molinaro, Ph.D., MLS(ASCP)CM, DABCC, FACB received his Ph.D. and post-doctoral training in Clinical Chemistry and Molecular Medicine. He joined Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and served as Medical Director for the Clinical Laboratories and Point-of-Care testing at Emory University Hospital Midtown, the Emory Clinical Translational Research Lab, Serious Communicable Disease Unit Lab, and the Clinical Research Network Laboratories for the Atlanta Clinical and Translational Science Institute. While now maintaining an adjunct faculty role at Emory, Dr. Molinaro currently serves as Medical Officer and Head of Medical Affairs for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. He is a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, board certified in Clinical Chemistry by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. Dr. Molinaro has over 50 scientific publications and book chapters and is a member of numerous expert panels and globally recognized committees in the field of laboratory medicine.
