Rose Romeo, PhD, DABCC, FACB is currently part of the Enterprise RAQA team at Agilent Technologies and has a professional background of over 20 years in both the Clinical Laboratory and Biotech/Industry space. Her most recent clinical position was as Director of Operations at Hunter Laboratories. Past clinical positions include over 8 years at San Francisco General Hospital and positions (Clinical Chemist, post doctoral fellowship, respectively) at Columbia Regional Hospital, MO and Hartford Hospital, CT. Past experience with biotech/IVD manufacturers includes >10 years with several companies, including XDx, Roche Molecular and 23andMe. Rose received her PhD in Pathology and Molecular Biology from Albany Medical College, Albany, NY and also has a Masters of Education in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University. She is board certified by the NRCC and ABCC and holds licensure as a Laboratory Director (Clinical Chemistry) with the State of California.
Paula Santrach, MD received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Her post-graduate training included a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. She is certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine by the American Board of Pathology.
