ADLM promotes excellence in clinical laboratory science through several poster abstract awards and recognition programs. Presenting authors can be considered for multiple awards as long as they meet the requirements. Most awards also require you to indicate interest in being considered in your poster abstract submission.

ADLM’s Student Research Award competition is held on the Monday afternoon of the ADLM Annual Meeting. The competition is intended for students, trainees, and postdoctoral fellows who are presenting authors of accepted poster abstracts for the Annual Meeting. All in-training and postdoctoral fellows are eligible for the competition. Poster abstract submission is required. Submitters must also indicate they wish to be considered in their poster abstract submission. Following poster abstract submission, abstracts are judged based on scientific value, originality, and quality. Competitors will then be selected for one of two separate competitions held at the ADLM Annual Meeting.
To be eligible to compete in the Student Research Award program, you must:
Note: You may enter with multiple abstracts, but will have to select one to participate in either competition.
