Renowned Toxicologist Prof Hans H Maurer Will Keynote AACCs Mass Spectrometry Conference
Professor Hans H. Maurer, a distinguished toxicologist and co-developer of two essential mass spectral spectral libraries, will be the keynote speaker at AACC’s 5th Annual Mass Spectrometry and Separation Sciences for Laboratory Medicine Conference, October 1-2, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois. Professor Maurer’s presentation, “High Resolution Mass Spectrometry for Laboratory Medicine - Current Status and Perspectives in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring/Toxicology,” will reflect his pioneering career and ongoing research involving analytical toxicology and in-vitro and in-vivo toxicokinetics. A professor of pharmacology and toxicology and head of the department of experimental and clinical toxicology at Saarland University in Germany, Professor Maurer is the author of more than 230 peer-reviewed original scientific papers and 30 review articles. His seminal Maurer/Pfleger/Weber 2011 Mass Spectral Library of Drugs, Poisons, Pesticides, Pollutants and Their Metabolites and Maurer/Wissenbach/Weber LCMSn Library of Drugs, Poisons, and Their Metabolites, are indispensable references for toxicologists worldwide.
