The Royden N. Rand Division of Animal Clinical Chemistry Past-Chair Award

This named award honors the service of the past-chair and pays tribute to the memory of Dr. R.N Rand, the ADLM president who initially sanctioned the formation of the original ad hoc Laboratory Animal Clinical Analysis Group in 1976. This award is given every other year to the DACC’s immediate past-chair to honor his or her contributions to the field of animal clinical laboratory science throughout his or her career and to acknowledge the recipient's many contributions to the Division of Animal Clinical Chemistry. Each chair has sacrificed his or her time to promote and provide education in the area of animal clinical chemistry, and to foster communication and networking among division members as per the Division mission.

DACC Certificate of Recognition

In 2000 the DACC Executive and Award Committees initiated a Certificate of Recognition to honor DACC members for meritorious service, dedication, and contributions to the ADLM Division of Animal Clinical Chemistry (DACC) that enhanced and advanced the practice and profession of animal clinical laboratory medicine. This award consists of a framed certificate usually presented at a regional meeting or at the ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting.
