Rojeet Shrestha, MS
Mr. Shrestha, 28 years, a native from Kathmandu, Nepal, is currently a research assistant professor at Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. His work focuses on basic research on oxidation of lipids and lipoproteins and analysis of lipids using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Previously, Mr. Shrestha was lecturer at Nepal Medical College, Kathmandu and clinical laboratory scientist at Mycobacterial Research Laboratory, Lalitpur, Nepal working on laboratory diagnostic aspect of tuberculosis and leprosy. He is graduated in laboratory medicine from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India and post-graduated in clinical biochemistry from Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal. Mr. Shrestha is a member of the AACC since 2009 and he has served national society (Nepal Association for Medical laboratory sciences) as secretary and treasurer from 2007 to 2012 and as executive editor of its official journal. Mr. Shrestha was one of the recipients of NACB distinguished abstract award 2013.
