1987 ADLM Past President’s Award

Robert Habig, PhD served as the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (formerly AACC) president in 1987.

1981 International Travel Fellowship

Robert L. Habig is the recipient of the 1981 and 1982 the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) Fellowships to Promote Clinical Chemistry in a Foreign Country. Habig will go to Columbia, Sasse (pending confirmation) to Panama. The Fellowship is sponsored by Becton Dickinson Company. These are the second and third such awards.

Habig is an assistant professor of clinical biochemistry at Duke University, and has been associated with the university since 1966. He has studied automation in laboratories and was principal investigator on a Public Health Service grant, “Improvement in Automated Clinical Chemistry.”
