Registration has opened for AACC’s 2015 Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in Atlanta, and this year’s event is full of outstanding educational sessions, excellent networking opportunities, and first-hand exposure to the latest in vitro diagnostics innovations. Early Bird registration with savings across all registration categories lasts until June 11. Members save $245 on full conference registration.

Our conference program, with more than 400 educational sessions in a variety of settings, will give attendees the knowledge needed to advance professionally, develop adaptive solutions for today's complex and challenging healthcare environment, and implement best practices to improve diagnostic testing.

Setting the tone for the conference will be our five plenary speakers, all renowned in their fields, who will address topics as diverse as plasma DNA analysis and the essential role of transparency in healthcare.

New this year are featured mini-tracks, enabling attendees to concentrate their learning in eight dynamic areas of laboratory medicine practice, ranging from personalized medicine to mass spectrometry.

The Annual Meeting also features special events with something for everyone. Two name just two, the Management Sciences and Patient Safety Leadership Seminar will spotlight pre-analytical variability and patient safety, while the International Lipoprotein Standardization Forum will hear Dr. Christopher Naugler discuss his research on the association between fasting times and lipid levels.

On the Expo front, the OEM Lecture Series Theater in the heart of the OEM pavilion will be back by popular demand, as will Industry Workshop Theaters, right in the Exhibit Hall. Early morning and late afternoon Industry Workshops at select hotels also will take place. Free lunches will be offered within the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday to attendees and exhibitors.

In addition to all this great content and chances to mix, mingle, and explore, the city of Atlanta has extended a warm southern welcome to AACC, with special offers and plenty of dining and activities options.
