AACC’s news publications, Clinical Laboratory News and CLN Stat, were honored in May, 2016 with three awards from The American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE). ASPHE recognizes editorial excellence and achievement in the field of healthcare publishing and also fosters the highest ethical standards editorial practices. ASHPE’s annual awards competition provides an opportunity for editors to measure their efforts against the very best the healthcare sector has to offer.
Of 17 editorial, six graphic and five publication categories, CLN and CLN Stat submitted and received ASPHE awards in three categories. CLN Stat won the highest honor, gold, in the Editorial/Best E-Newsletter category, while CLN was recognized with a silver award in the Graphics/Best Opening Page/Spread: Photo category and a bronze award in the Graphics/Best Overall Use of Graphics category.
