AACC’s Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the May 2021 elections.
Eligible members can submit nominations for:
- President-Elect
- Two positions on the Board of Directors
- Three positions on the Nominating Committee
The terms of these positions will start in August 2021 and end with the annual association business meeting in July 2024.
After reviewing the nominations, AACC’s Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates to the AACC membership. The committee will present a non-competitive slate for the President-Elect and Director positions, with one candidate proposed for each open position. The committee will also present a plurality of candidates for open positions on the Nominating Committee. The competitive election for the Nominating Committee provides AACC members with the opportunity to choose their most highly qualified peers to fulfill the committee’s important charge.
All eligible members are encouraged to nominate their peers to lead the association in the coming years. AACC’s leadership guides the association’s efforts on behalf of its members and the field of laboratory medicine. By participating in the nominations process, members help to shape the future of the organization.
