AACC’s diverse committees give members ample opportunities to be involved, as well as to network, develop professionally and advance their careers. In addition to the 20 local sections, which host educational programming and recognition events convenient to members across North America, AACC’s 18 divisions give laboratorians world-wide the chance to learn about best practices and the latest research in each division’s specialty, as well as connect with imminent scientists in those fields. Our 25 program committees enable members to work with staff in shaping professional and educational activities as diverse as the Association’s publications and press, its conferences and meetings, awards, and scientific programming.

AACC’s National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry promotes research, education and professional development in the laboratory medicine profession, and it offers members many opportunities to shape NACB’s governance and set the direction for practice guidelines that reflect the latest scientific evidence and best practices in laboratory medicine.
