Christopher Farnsworth

Dr. Christopher Farnsworth is an instructor in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the co-medical director of clinical chemistry and the director of point of care testing for Barnes Jewish Hospital. He received his PhD at the University of Rochester in Pathology before completing a clinical chemistry fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. His primary research interests include laboratory testing for infectious disease, biomarkers of cardiac disease, and the impact of preanalytical variables on lab results.
