What Information does AACC collect?
To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the AACC website, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited data. This data is submitted voluntarily. AACC asks users to provide their name, date of birth, member number (for members), organization name, business phone, and e-mail. Similar data may be submitted to AACC through membership applications, conference or seminar registration, publication orders, and subscriptions. Other data collected through this tracking feature includes: e-mail address of a user, the date and time of the user's "click," a message number, name of the list from which the message was sent, tracking URL number and destination page. AACC only uses this data to enhance its products and distribution of those products to its members.

How do we protect your data?
We adopt what we consider to be appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to guard against unlawful or unauthorised processing of your personal data and against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, your personal data. We have security measures in place designed to help protect our Membership Directory, Mailing Lists and the personal data we collect from you to develop our products and services and access to these is restricted internally. - To log off or exit from the website when you are not using it;
- To ensure that no-one else uses the website while your device is logged on to the website;
- To keep your password or other access information secret; and
- To maintain good internet security. For example, if your email account or Facebook account is compromised this could allow access to your account with us if you have given us those details and/or permitted access through those accounts. If your email account is compromised it could be used to ask us to reset a password and gain access to your account with us. You should keep all of your account details secure. If you think that any of your accounts have been compromised you should change your account credentials with us, and in particular make sure any compromised account does not allow access to your account with us. You should also tell us as soon as possible so that we can try to help you keep your account secure and if necessary warn anyone else who could be affected.
