CLN, CLN Stat and AACC Artery Honored With Prestigious International Awards

AACC publications and online member community recognized in eight Hermes Creative Award categories

AACC’s print and digital news publications, Clinical Laboratory News (CLN) and CLN Stat, and the association’s online member community, AACC Artery, recently were recognized with eight 2016 Hermes Creative Awards. Administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.

AACC’s eight 2016 Hermes Creative Awards recognize the exceptional writing and design of CLN and CLN Stat, and the design and functionality of AACC Artery, all of which help laboratory medicine professionals worldwide stay informed about important issues in laboratory medicine and in vitro diagnostics and find solutions to challenging patient health problems.

Healthcare teams rely on laboratory medicine professionals to ensure patients get timely, accurate diagnoses and targeted therapies for treatment. CLN, AACC’s flagship news magazine, has a long tradition of covering the latest news and information of importance to laboratory medicine professionals. After a major redesign in 2014, CLN has continued to examine key issues in the clinical laboratory field thoughtfully and thoroughly, while also featuring a dynamic, modern look.

CLN Stat, AACC’s semi-monthly e-publication, consistently covers the latest news, research breakthroughs, regulatory and policy updates, and best practice recommendations for its global audience.

AACC Artery provides AACC members worldwide with an active forum for exchanging ideas, discussing practice challenges and controversies, and sharing their experiences in today’s demanding healthcare environment.

In recognition of its commitment to excellent health communications, AACC received the Hermes Creative Awards’ highest honor, the Platinum Award, in four categories, the Gold Award in two categories, and Honorable Mention in two categories.
