Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians


Laboratorians younger than age 40 will find a welcome atmosphere among peers in the Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL), which provides crucial networking, mentorship, programming, and recognition opportunities. SYCL (pronounced "cycle") is a free benefit to under 40 members as well as Trainee Members of AACC, and enrollment is automatic.

AACC helps SYCL members in the U.S. and Canada* participate in the AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo by awarding SYCL Travel Grants. These need-based grants give preference to applicants who submit oral or written posters for presentation. SYCL Travel Grant winners receive a cash award of $2,000.
