From precision medicine to genomics to point-of-care technologies, topic tracks at this year’s 70th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo offer enough variety and cutting-edge innovations to support any participant’s area of interest.

Attendees with a strong interest in a particular area of lab medicine can use these eight tracks as a guide to decide which sessions fit those interests, David Grenache, PhD, DABCC, chief scientific officer of TriCore Reference Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and chair of the annual meeting organizing committee told CLN Stat.

“We tried to cast a wide net when organizing the tracks so that there would be something to appeal to everyone with interest in a topic area,” Grenache said. “I think the sessions themselves represent science and clinical developments that are of contemporary importance in lab medicine today.”

The eight tracks include:

Each track clusters selected sessions into specific areas intended to help attendees maximize the value they take away from the meeting. In some cases, overlapping sessions exist within a track. “Attendees may need to select a specific session that best meets their needs and aligns with their interests,” Grenache suggested.

Pursuing through the eight topic tracks is just one way to sample the more than 200 educational sessions offered at the 70th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo July 29–August 2 in Chicago. Register today.
