New Version of Lab Tests Online-Mobile Available Now

Six months after the successful launch of the mobile version of its award-winning website, Lab Tests Online, AACC has launched version 2 of the app for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) as well as Android phones and tablets, including the Kindle Fire.

The new version of LabTestsOnline-M adds support for landscape orientation and includes several new features for sharing pages, bookmarking pages, and adjusting the font size. In addition, the app improves handling of the large volume of data that is loaded onto the device, so that load time and content updating are vastly improved. The app now supports Apple's retina display and has been iOS 5 tested.

Since its launch in July, Lab Tests Online-M has been downloaded to over 1800 devices. The app makes accessing lab testing information very convenient for the end-user by downloading the website's content to the mobile device. Once installed, the app does not require an Internet connection to access the content, and, as a consequence, is able to bring up requested pages much more quickly because the content is resident on the device. An Internet connection is needed to download content updates, share pages, and access links to pages outside of Lab Tests Online.
