Dr. Christopher Price
Dr. Christopher Price obtained his first degree (BSc) in Chemistry and Physiology from the University of London. He then studied for a Masters degree in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham and continued his research into the characteristics of the alkaline phosphatases of human bile for his PhD. Dr. Price completed the UK equivalent of his Board certification in Birmingham and then moved to a senior post in Southampton. An interest in evidence-based medicine and outcomes research led him to join the Diagnostics Division of Bayer HealthCare as Vice President of Outcomes Research. He is now Visiting Professor in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Oxford and works as an independent consultant.
Dr. Price has been both Chairman and President of the Association for Clinical Biochemistry in the UK, as well as chair of the Association’s Education Committee.
