Clinical Chemistry is a peer-reviewed, monthly publication of original research.  It is published by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and is currently the most highly cited journal in the field of laboratory medicine and pathology.  Clinical Chemistry has the highest Impact Factor among journals of clinical chemistry, clinical (or anatomic) pathology, analytical chemistry, and the subspecialties, such as transfusion medicine and clinical microbiology (2009 Impact Factor = 6.263).
