Title

Non-Cellulose Matrix Cards - follow-up

Body

Much appreciate this article. Thanks.

I represent a University Tech transfer office in Australia, from whence has been developed a non-cellulose medium for DBS which overcomes many of the limitations of paper. A 2.5-fold increase in extraction recovery, for example. Our medium not only removes many of the matrix effects (ionisation suppression), but also incorporates a huge range of possible surface chemistries, thus affording processing benefits. We're primarily (but not exclusively) targetting the quantitative applications (ie Pharma drug development).

I'd love to see further discussion on the potential for new matrices.

We are, of course, seeking partners/investors with whom to bring this technology to market.
