Can you comment on the quality of DBS testing for a variety of analytes (hormones, lipids, Vitamin D, HbA1C) that are being offered as direct to consumer tests. In these cases, the consumer collects the DBS specimen and mails it to the lab.
These tend to be by labs that cater either to 1)corporate wellnness programs, or 2) to alternative medicine practitioners.
